Flying Visit to Lochmara Lodge

Lochmara Lodge is a short hop over the Queen Charlotte Sound from Picton, but we won’t let you miss out on the experience of the Marlborough Sounds. We will fly you the scenic route over the bush clad ridges and explore the hidden coves that can only be accessed by small boat or helicopter.
After our truly unforgettable flight we land at Lochmara. A gentle bush walk takes you down to the café where you can have lunch and refreshments before enjoying the many activities the Lodge has to offer.
Tastes like Marlborough
Take time to dine in Lochmara’s licensed café and enjoy the view over the bay. The café specialises in showcasing Marlborough’s local seasonal produce from land and sea. Some herbs and fruit produced right on site, and of course, they serve world famous Marlborough wines and beer.

Located right on the waters edge and extending up into the hills, Lochmara offers you the chance to enjoy swimming, kayaking and a number of water activities, or explore the property to discover wildlife conservation efforts and animal sanctuary as well as the art gallery.

Flight cost
The price is for the helicopter to do the flight. It seats a maximum of 5 passengers, so up to 5 people can go for this cost.
